Websites with info about Teddington Lock and TYM

Once you've seen your crews through the lock gates, they will paddle to the buildings you can see in the photo and get out there.  They then carry their boats to the grass to the left of the buildings where you will have walked to get to the bridge over the lock.  Their campsite is here too so it means another long trek from your car with all the camping gear!

You may be briefed about the start time for Day 4 - or, most likely, you will have to wait for a text/phone call some time during the evening to find out what time the paddlers will be setting off in the morning. Of course it depends on the tide so this varies from year to year.

Hotels in Teddington / Kingston Upon Thames

Once you've unloaded all the camping kit for your crew and taken away anything they need washed or repaired, you can head for your own place of rest for the night!

See our link Where to Stay - however, don't just turn up at a hotel and hope for a room!  Remember this will be Easter Weekend. Best to book as far ahead as you possibly can. (a) To be sure of a room and (b) to get the best possible price.
